About the Instructor

Mike Holmes has been hunting and handling firearms since he was 10 years old which has given him an extensive knowledge of different firearms and their regulations, and he enjoys teaching others how to safely use them.  His father has been a CORE and firearms instructor for 30 years, and Mike has had the pleasure of assisting his father with these courses over the past 15 years.

Mike also has a diploma in Wildlife Management from Vancouver Island University.
